War continues to rage through the galaxy. With the alliance between the Deimers and the Genesians shattered, the conflict has devolved into a three-way fight between diminished powers; humanity attacks the Genesians and the Deimers; the Deimers attack the Genesians and humanity; the Genesians simply fight to defend what remains of themselves and to survive the hatred of an entire galaxy.
Hope arrives when the Genesians are offered a unique and risky lifeline, but after being viciously betrayed, they are left battered and weakened, and more vulnerable than ever before.
